Ledro Valley is a spectacular valley between Lake Garda and the Brenta Dolomites, is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. We will discover its beauty by bike.
Along a beautiful bike path, through the villages of Molina di Ledro, Mezzolago and Pieve, you can see the lake and the reflection of the mountains in its waters, always amazing. Flora and fauna of the lake are worthy to be a reserve, with its rare species like the bear, wolf and lynx.
Continuing always on a paved ground, we will take another section of bike path that runs parallel to the road that crosses Ledro Valley. We will pass different villages until we reach Ampola Lake; one of the few lakes to have been preserved in its natural state. For this reason it has obtained the recognition of biotope. The lake changes in appearance depending on the season, in spring it is dyed yellow for the flowering of water lilies.
We will cycle among cultivated fields, farms, rural landscapes and welcoming mountains. We will visit the farm where after a short visit, we will taste the typical cheeses such as ricotta, herbal cheeses, smoked ricotta cheese, caciotta, taleggio etc.
